Mark Banister, Jr., a guide with Tinker's Striper Guide Service caught a 3.17 lb. Sand Bass this past weekend. This sand bass is definately the largest one we have seen in quite awhile.

Lake Texoma Sand Bass

The cooler water has made winter striper fishing hot.  We spoke with Doug Keeter of Stripermaster Guide Service yesterday.  Doug a full time guide on Lake Texoma reported that he has been catching limits of big stripers and returning several over the 20" length limit to grow even bigger.  He went on to say that his trips were hauling in several stripers in the 7-16 lb. range.  Doug fishes from Hiport Marina and is a fun and instructional guide.

The Blog was down for some time, but we are back in business now.  With the drastic weather change we have been told by several guides that the stripers on Lake Texoma will be tearing it up.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to catch a limit of big stripers.  Contact a guide and they will be glad to give you more info on Lake Texoma Fishing conditions.
