Guaranteed Catch Revisited

We recieved an email over the weekend from a fisherman whose party recently had a tough day fishing with a guide on Lake Texoma, catching only a few small stripers.  The inquiry centered around the use of phrases of terms "Guarateed Catch", "Catch fish or your money back.  We had witten an article on this last year and for your information are updating the past article.

Lake Texoma Fatality Accident

Lake Texoma was the site of a tragic Jet Ski accident this past weekend that resulted in the death a 19 year old Sherman man and serious injuries to a 20 year old man also from Sherman, Texas.  According to reports the men were jumping boat waves on their jet skis and collided.

One last point, with the rising waters from all the recent rains, be on the lookout for floating hazards in the lake.  The rivers and creeks are pouring into the lake.  With the water they are supplying also comes all kinds of debris.  Keep your eyes open and have a great day boating Lake Texoma.

 

Local Benefit Sunday Aril 22, 2007

If you are around Lake Texoma this coming weekend, please consider stopping by Anchor Up Bar & Grill on Highport Rd. from Noon til 6:00 pm and donating a little to the Benefit for Paul Boatright.  Paul is a local resident who had a very bad motorcycle accident and has been in Parkland Hospital the past three weeks. 

They have a lot of activities going on such as a Horseshoe Tournament, Live and silent Auctions, Live Music and they are Roasting a Pig.  

If you have some spare time on Sunday, come enjoy the company of a lot of the local community, enjoy the activities and help out a family in dire need.
