Tinker New Years Fishing Report

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We hope all our friends and customers had a great Christmas and Holidays and we wish you all the best for the New Year. December has been a little slow as usual but we did have a few fishermen to brave the weather. We had 89 fishermen to date this month and they brought in 770 stripers to the cleaning table. December 4th L.E. Wehling and his group fished with us for two days bringing in 76 stripers. On December 8th Dan Clear brought his boys up to fish with us taking home 30 stripers. Webb Lockwood and his group fished on December 15th and brought in 32 stripers and one sand bass that was only .01 lb. of the Lake Texoma record. December 15th was a day for adventures. Tom McCullough and his friends Rusty, Shane, and Bill braved the cold and the wind plus a boat that overheated and had to be moved to another boat. They still brought in their limit of stripers. What a way to spend a Christmas Eve, out fishing on beautiful Lake Texoma. Scott Friedman and his family came in with 50 stripers and Scott was so excited that he gave his fish a big kiss. Tim Sims also brought his boys for a fishing trip on Christmas Eve leaving with 40 stripers to 7 lbs and 11 sand bass. Justin was on leave from our armed forces and we would like to thank him and all our guys and gals in the armed forces. Christmas Eve striper fishing on Lake Texoma

As a lot of you know, it is getting close to Boat, Fishing, and Tackle Shows. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to attend some of the shows this year. We will not be at the Kansas City Show, or the shows in the Dallas, Arlington and Fort Worth areas. We will be at the Amarillo Show and Midessa Show. We will miss seeing all of you this year. We are still going to have show specials for those of you that have visited with us at our show trailer in the past shows. Start watching your mail for our post card with the show specials that we are offering this year and as pervious years it will take a $50.00 deposit to book the show specials. If for some reason that you do not receive a post card you can always call the office to find out what the show specials are for this year. Pam and Debbie will always be ready and willing to help you get your deposits registered for the show specials. You will have until March 31, 2008 to put up your deposit.
